Wine Walk 4 night

DAY 1                   

Check in to your 4-star cottage on the beautiful High Season farm in the heart of the Hemel & Aarde Valley, within walking distance of many of the valleys award winning wine estates. Check in from 14:00.

A short walk takes us to the tasting room of Newton Johnson, an awarded wine estate in the valley.   (1 km)

DAY 2

Enjoy a hearty farm breakfast before stretching your legs on one of the most scenic walking routes in the valley. Walk along the Kleinrivier Mountainside through orchards, horse farms and vineyards to Bosman Family Winery where we visit the Bosman Frame House for a wine tasting and lunch. Continuing on we stroll past the protea farm and fynbos slopes to La Vierge for a wine tasting. A short walk takes us home to High Season Farm                        (Distance 14 km)

Day 3

Breakfast at High Season farm

Fabulous fynbos flowers line the Babylonstoren Mountain as we walk to Ataraxia, the highest vineyard in the Heaven & Earth Valley. After a tasting in the bright chapel-like Skyfields tasting room, we take a downhill stroll through an olive farm on the slopes of the Kleinrivier mountainside. Part of the Cape Epic cycle track leads us through the fynbos to Spookfontein tasting room and magnificent boutique restaurant for lunch.  A short transfer takes us back to the farm (Distance 12 km) Light Supper at the farm.

Day 4

This morning, we walk alongside the vineyards of Cap Maritime to the tasting room of Bouchard Finlayson, the most awarded estate in the Hemel en Aarde wine valley. After sampling their wine, we explore the Onus River Gorge en-route to our lunch venue with a view -The Bistro, famous for its steaks. A short walk takes us back to the farm.                                       (Distance 14 km)

DAY 5

Day 5  

 Saving the best for last, we visit CREATION for a world class brunch tasting experience. https://www.creationwines.com/

Alternatively: hike a section of the scenic Hermanus Cliff path with breakfast at Burgundy restaurant.

 Tour ends at 11:30-12:00
